Before You Start

When nodes disappear from the control panel, use a systematic recovery path before re-flashing or RMA.

Recovery Checklist

  1. Re-seat uplink USB cable at hub and chassis.
  2. Swap hub port; label bad ports on asset sheet.
  3. Verify data-rated cable (not charge-only).
  4. Compare serial to factory burn-in sheet.
  5. Restart mirror service on control PC.
  6. Isolate node from production groups until root cause logged.
  7. If persistent: open RMA ticket with serial and hub port map.
