Before You Start
When nodes disappear from the control panel, use a systematic recovery path before re-flashing or RMA.
Recovery Checklist
- Re-seat uplink USB cable at hub and chassis.
- Swap hub port; label bad ports on asset sheet.
- Verify data-rated cable (not charge-only).
- Compare serial to factory burn-in sheet.
- Restart mirror service on control PC.
- Isolate node from production groups until root cause logged.
- If persistent: open RMA ticket with serial and hub port map.
